We have a winner! permalink

Someone has won the GAWDS Redesign Competition 2004. But who is it? I'm not going to tell you, because I don't know who they are yet. The judges won't tell me. *sniff* Oh, wait. Is that them e-mailing me to tell me their decision? No, it's not. Hang on a minute. I'm writing this a week too early! Watch this space.

In case you're not sure, all the text on this page is here for padding purposes. We did have a load of Lorem Ipsum but thought this would be more fun and interesting.

How the Web was won permalink

The persistence of GAWDS publicity pushes has paid off, says proud patriarch.

GAWDS exists to promote the use of standards and best practice for a better Web for all. The flood of membership requests received by the Guild since its official launch a month ago has been very encouraging, and is a good indicator that the aims of the Guild are shared by many Web Designers and Developers the world over. We're another step closer to the accessible Web we are trying to weave.

That was a fictitious quote from someone. Some padding. Lorem ipsum wotsit thingy bobby is not the best tool to use when testing the accessibility of a website. We're here to make sure things get done properly.
