A school leaver in 1990, I tried various career paths before returning to full time study in 1996. I went on to earn a BSc in Applied Computing Sciences from the University of East Anglia in 2000. After a short stint at British Telecom as a lead web developer, I started work for mProvision as Technical Development Manager. This is where I got my first taste for SEO and have maintained a healthy appetite ever since. I then joined SilverTap as Head of Mobile Content before stepping into the freelance market and starting my own SEO consultancy in September 2006. Throughout this time I have consistently helped many websites achieve top rankings in a wide variety of markets. I'm based in the medieval city of Norwich and currently providing SEO and online marketing services to small and medium businesses, in addition to working as an independent contractor for several online marketing agencies.
